What Is The Prognosis For Pancreatitis And CDI In The Elderly?

My 87 year pld mother was recently disbharged from the hospital after a 7 week struggle with stones in the Gallbladder duct removed and Pancreatitis,C-Diff, Thrush and LL pneumonia. She etill cant eat and Pancreatitis is slow to resolve. she s ready to give up. We brought her home and the family are all there for her around the clock,but she is just not getting better. Please advise

Sir i. Understand your concern for your mother. Pancreatitis generally does have very bad prognosis. In your case you have not mentioned detail history with lab reports. But as per your summary i can make out that she had gone through lot of complications of disease. Considering her age, prognosis is even worse. 8 am afraid to tell you these but she is going through difficult phase. I hope my answer will satisfy your queries.
