What Is The Prognosis For The Adrenal Gland Swelling?
I was diagnosed with renal cell cancer & had left kidney removed 18 years ago, it was a 13 centimeter tumour...Today the cancer specialist told me above my one remaining kidney that the adrenal gland is growing a bit...He s going to run tests, MRI, blood etc...I ve been having multiple UTI results for a couple years now & he says it may have been misdiagnosed...What will the effect be if its the adrenal glad that s cancerous or could it be something or nothing at all?
The urinary tract infection and adrenal gland swelling have no direct correlation. The MRI scan will give idea regarding changes in adrenal glands are malignant or Benign.
The biopsy can be taken for histopathology examination to confirm the diagnosis. According to the cause-specific treatment given.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
