What Is The Prognosis Of A Person With Clot In Artery Along With Renal Failure?
Hi, our mum has a clot in her artery in her thigh. This has stopped the circulation to her left leg. The doctors have opted not to amputate as it s too risky with other heAlth issues such as vascular dimentia, renal failure and high blood pressure. Her left leg has been dying slowly over the past 4 weeks and she is on 5mg of morphine every 4-6 hours. We are giving her water by mouth and that s all she is having- no other medication. What is her prognosis? Thank you.

I really appreciate your concern, as long as prognosis is concern if she is having some risk factors as it is being stated here prognosis would be poor, still better advise is only possible after clinical examination and studying all the reports, hope this information helps, take care.
