The ultimate prognosis and chances of recovery depends on the extent of
brain damage with the initial brain haemorrhage due to
ruptured aneurysm. This can be assessed by seeing the initial
CT scan of the brain.
It also depends on any complications suffered by the patient in the post-operative period.
EEG findings could also give information regarding the brain functions.
