What Is The Proper Aftercare For A Dogbite On Upper Lip Which Is Noticeably Raw And Lacking Pigment?

how long does it take an upper lip to heal if it was scraped off on one side not deep enough for stitches but noticeably raw and lacking pigment due to a dog bite? what is the proper aftercare and will my lip heal back to its natural color or will it be a blister like scar?

Hi. First of all I would like to know that Dog and / or You are well vaccinated for rabies. This is the first important issue.The lips heal really very fast due to a very good blood supply. But as it was a superficial and raw, the healing pattern will be different. I would advise you to visit a Plastic Surgeon if possible for you. In the meantime do not apply anything which is available. Keep the would clean and dry.
