What Is The Purpose Of Estradiol Valerate?

I am Aparna .. 24 years old .. I am planning for pregnancy .. my problem is I had irregularfrom starting onwards .. I went hospital n shared my problem to the docot .. she prescribed medication to get periods ..after getting periods again I met my doctor .. she has done a follicle examination on 13 th day of my date .. she said that egg size was 9.5 mm and endometrium thickness was 6 mm meanwhile she prescribed progynova I.e., estradiol vale rate for endometrium thickness and dehydroepiandrosterone capsules .. I heard that persons planning for pregnnacy should not take estradiol . But why does she prescribed that medication ??

Estradiol valerate contains a female natural hormone, called estrogen that is used to mature and then maintain the female reproductive system. It can cause the maturation and release of the egg during the menstrual cycle. It helps to improve the endometrial growth, thickness and pregnancy rate in infertile women. It also helps to prevent miscarriage and for the welfare of the upcoming baby's development. This medication is usually not recommended to use during pregnancy. But if the doctor will advise to take this medication before pregnancy, then someone can take this medication according to the prescribing doctor's advice.
