hi I am 50 yrs old daigonised with multiple fibroids right side measured 3.3x3.3cm and bulky utres 76x50x56mm since last 7 years.My Gynec sugested me to take Meftal 500 mg during every monthly cycle 3 times for first 5 days.Kindly let me know the purpose of this pills and how it is going to help me,regards Mini

dear user , since fibroid may be causing pain and/or menstrual irregularities like more bleeding to you , you have been precribed - meftal (mefenamic acid) which is a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug - which will decrease the pain and bleeding due to fibroid , so take it as advised by your treating gynecologist. Take care
