What Is The Purpose Of Prescribing Ciplox For Positive Pap Smear Test Result?
Dear Doctor.Recently my wife undergone preventive health check up and subsequently gone through pap smear test and found positive. Doctor told to take ciplox tz for seven days each day two tab. She is Fourty seven and having two children. Both deliveries were normal. She doesn t have any cancer
Positive pap smear test means that your doctor has found abnormal cells in the cervix. It does not always mean that the person has cervical cancer. There can be many other causes for positive pap smear, infection being one of them. That's why your doctor has prescribed a course of antibiotics. Your wife must complete the course of treatment and go back to the doctor. He may like to repeat the test.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
