What Is The Purpose Of Prescribing Orovit?

Is Orovit only prescribed to females or any body can take it.? I am asking this because my friend suggested me to take this tablets so I can gain weight, I am very skinny, my age 29, height 5.7 and weight-48kg. Please help me out on how to gain weight through medication. Thank you.

Hi thank you for posting your query in HCM. I had gone through your question i understand your concerns.
Orovit is a multi vitamin and mineral tablet. You can take the tablet with out hesitation.
If someone comes to me in my clinic, i would ask for the following tests to rule out the causes for underweight
Blood tests for hyperthyroidism, infections,anaemia,
I would suggest you to have high calorie food three times a day. Have more protein food. Your calories intake should be more than calories expenditure. Have mutton 250gms a week. Have white rice, parathas for lunch and dinner. Drink plenty of water. Have healthy fats like olive oil. Eat more bananas after each meal. Do not eat sweets as these would convert into stubborn fat which would lead to health problems in the later life.
