Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Semi lordotic view on X-ray is taken to look for any calcification or mass beneath the clavicles or collar bones and the apex of lungs.
In a normal AP or PA view the apex of lungs is shielded by collar bones and thus any pathology or lesion is not visible on this view.
Thus, your doctor / radiologist has ordered for a semi-lordotic view.
Your management will depend whether any pathology is detected on semi-lordotic view.

Thanks and take care
