Was it a Fresh blood or brown colored Blood. Was it mixed with sputum? Since she is a Stroke patient, she would have been put on Ecosprin and Clopidogrel which reduce the platelet count and may cause bleeding. Anyways, take her to a Gastroenterologist and get a Endoscopy done to rule out the cause. Take Care.

It could be due to the high blood pressure get an endoscopy done to evaluate the cause of the bleed and measures to control the blood pressure should be done.If the cause for stroke also was a beed they would not have put her on antiplatelet measures and so the cause of the bleeding could be trauma during naso gastric tube insertion or misplacement later on.
