I have noted your sister's symptoms.
The most likely diagnostic possibilities are
syncope or
transient ischemic attack (
TIA).
Sometimes, small brain strokes (lacunar infarcts) are not seen on CT, but can get picked up on an
MRI brain. Having said that, hospitalisation is not needed to do an MRI, as it takes about 30 minutes to do it and is a non-invasive procedure.
In syncope, due to low blood pressure, the blood flow to brain reduces for a while, leading to
loss of consciousness.
