Hi, I am a college female student and recently was diagnosed with bronchitis and acute bronchospasm. My mother has asthma, and I am in the process of seeing a lung specialist. I have had a lot of chest tightness, do you know why? I use an inhaler to help with the wheezing..

Thanks for your query.
Probably your asthma is not controlled on the prescribed inhaler and it needs step up of the treatment. Other possibility can be ongoing airway allergen exposure, post nasal drip etc..Visit the chest physician of your area....
