What Is The Reason For Dizziness And Nausea During Intercourse ?

Hello I am a 60 year old woman. In the recent months I have been experiencing dizzines and nausea at the begining of sex with my husband of 34 years. What can be causing this? I consider my self healthy and active.

Hi Colleen,
Dizziness and nausea per say have no direct relation to sexual intercourse.However,there may be a neurological component in this.Sometimes,certain positions may cause dizziness or vertigo as we call it.Its called positional vertigo.This may occur due to many reasons but most commonly due to ear problems.Hyperventilation may also cause vertigo sometimes as do other conditions.I suggest you see a physician to rule out other causes.BPV iseasily treated.
