What Is The Reason For Dizziness, Nausea, Occassional Rapid Heart Beats?

I am 49 years old in good shape. I have been dizzy for the last 2 days. I get dizzy when I lie down. When I got up this morning it was worse. I felt ok after being up for a while. I went to teach a pilates class and when I was lying down on the mat the room started spinning. I had to stop for a moment. I started feeling nausea a little throughout the day. Also, I have had occasional rapid heart beat. I have not been sick.

Dear Sir/madam
Thanks for writing to us.
A Dizziness of short duration esp on lying down can be simply due to minor disturbances of balancing system. However to rule out a serious disorder you must see your doctor. If it is simply benign positional vertigo, he will prescribe you a few medicines and you will be better in a few days.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
