What Is The Reason For Passing More Blood Clots Weeks After Having Abortion?
I had an abortion 4 weeks ago n bled for the first few day then I was fine... Went back for a check up n everything was fine was told to come back after 5 days for another check up but I was told I had an infection... I had a goldish discharge n she gave me more medication a week later had severe cramps in my womb n went back for a check up n got more medication a few days later I started bleeding again but there where more blood clots than blood n it has been over a 8 days now... What could be the problem?

Many times there are retained products of conception after abortion which remain in the uterus. This can cause infection and when expelled there can be clot like contents. You should get an ultrasound scan of your uterus done to make sure nothing remains in the uterus after abortion.
