What Is The Reason For Spotting After Sex?

I was having sex with a new partner and it was very rough but did not hurt. once it was over, i seen spotted blood. the next day i seen even more spotting. We had sex again and the second time it was very bloody, it has been 2 days and i have not stopped bleeding yet. i am 19 and on de provera birth control shot.

A rough sex can cause local trauma leading to spotting. Nothing to worry about. It will settle down on its own. Look for 3-4 days. If it doesnt stop then you will have to undergo a local examination. Your birth control shots may not be responsible for the spotting.
