Hello and welcome, I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.
The cause of such bleeding may be hormonal imbalance. Ovarian cysts may also cause such issues. Other reasons are endometrial and cervical polyps that are simple tumors of the cervix and uterus.
It is best to get a gynec evaluation and an ultrasound to look for the cause. A thyroid test may be needed. If there is no relief a dilatation and curettage may be needed to study the endometrium and decide further treatment.
Hope I was able to answer your query. Thanks for using HCM. Have a good day. Dr Nilajkumar Bagde Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology
