What Is The Reason For Sudden Heart Racing?

My blood pressure is generally 120/70, however, my hart rate can jump from 65 to 125 to 145 for about an hour and then return to my normal rat of 65 to 70. This can occur any time during the day and not associated to any strenuous exercise and may not occur for days.

Hi,

Sudden fluctuations in the heart rate may be due to arrhythmia or hyperthyroidism or panic attacks or anxiety neurosis or Infections or hypotension etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. You may need 24 hour ECG, blood pressure monitoring. Avoid caffeinated drinks and alcohol. Do regular exercise and yoga.

Eat green leafy vegetables. If symptoms not improved please consult your Cardiologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
