What Is The Reason Of Having Foul Taste In Mouth For 2 Months?
I have had a foul taste on my tongue for two months I have seen a dentist and a doctor but don't seem to be getting anywhere.Doctor thought it may acid but I have no heartburn or discomfort anywhere except in my mouth.i had an endoscopy in june and nothing was found.do you have any ideas what it might be nothing has change in my diet or lifestyle and am at my wits end now.

Hi, the causes of foul taste in mouth can be reflux or post nasal drip. Any focus of infection in the nose, sinuses, oral cavity or throat can lead to foul taste. Any problem with teeth or gums can also lead to foul taste in oral cavity. Certain drugs like metronidazole can lead to foul taste. Please get a complete dental and ENT check up done as you endoscopy is normal. Use of hexidine mouth was after meals and before going to bed also helps. Regards
