What Is The Reason Of Severe Pain In Entire Left Side Of Body Which Is Originating From Hip?

I'm having some severe pain in my entire left side of my body that seems to be stemming from my left hip. What's odd though is that when I walk it's almost like I can feel the disks in my spine grinding and it makes my back and hip hurt worse. What could this be?

Hi, thanks for asking Healthcare Magic.
With this presentation, I think it is a degenerative joint disease called osteoarthritis cause by loss of cartilage in joints. Its rate of occurrence increases with age. Management involves pain control with acetaminophen and over-the-counter non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs, and may be physical therapy.

I hope that answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. We will be delighted to answer more questions from you.
I wish you good health
