Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,
Good day. It is important to know why you periods are irregular. Are you obese or overweight ? We need to do blood tests like prolactin and also ultrasound of abdomen to look for poly cystic ovary syndrome. You will need an endocrinology evaluation to find out the cause. TSH of 6.4 is elevated and you may need to slightly increase the dose of thyroxine. Bigomet is Metformin and my favourite dose is atleast 1000 mg daily for Poly cystic ovary syndrome. Regular exercise and weight loss also may help to regularize the periods.
Do not worry dear. You have to meet an endocrinologist who can examine you and advice further. If you are planning for pregnancy, the above measures may help.
