My spouse was recently in an auto collision of 40mph to 0 in less than 5 feet. Air bag deployment saved her life but burned her hands and was further diagnosed with chest wall contusion , which cause severe pain from any muscular contraction of her upper abdominal region. If this contusion was the only physical injury would normally take more than 4 weeks to heal to the point of little or no pain?
