What Is The Recovery Time For Periorbital Cellulitis?

I was diagnoed on Dec. 28, after a CT scan, with periorbital cellulitis. I was prescribed one dose daily of Levaquin, four doses daily of Cleocin. There was ni omprovement by Dec. 30 so I went back to the ER and was told I also had shingles, and was percribed Acyclovire. Here it is Dec. 31, and my eye is still swollen shut with no visable signs of improvement. Is this corse of treatment correct? How long does this last?

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having periorbital cellulitis and shingles. Periorbital cellulitis is inflammation of mild degree and it should resolve by 7-10 days by treatment with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.
Shingles usually take 1-3 weeks for resolution with treatment by antiviral drugs.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
