What Is The Reddish Firm Lump On The Back Of My Son's Neck?

My 6 month old has a reddish firm lump about the size of a pea on the back of his neck, he's had it for more than a month now. At first i thought it was a swollen lymph node, but it hasn't gone down, and it is directly below his head, in the middle of the back of his neck.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
It may be a hemangioma.
If so it will spontaneously regress of its own by 2 years of age.
Better show it to a pediatrician as it is difficult to come to a conclusion without seeing the baby.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
