What Is The Remedies For Hepatitis B Of SGOT:91 SGPT:150 ?
Hi..i am TEnzin aged 21 and a positive hepatitis b carrier since 5 years..i recently did a blood test and it showed that i am still positive..I was told by my doctor that i would gradually heal myself but that certainly hasnt happened..i checked different websites regarding the disease and i am extremely worried..i used to be a drinker but now i have quited.I was wondering if there are any remedies which will help me to reduce the level of the virus and increase my immunity?
Hepatitis B is caused by a virus and there is no particular treatment available and in many cases either it goes on its own due to improved immunity or may remain in dormant state for years. In many persons it may cause jaundice in active form and may damage the liver.Since you are young your doctor told that it will heal on its own with the expectation of increase in immunity but since you were drinking alcohol the condition did not improve. It is good that you have quit alcohol but the raised SGOT and SGPT are signs of inflammation of liver so you need to restrict diet;and get treated for the problems and for that please consult a Physician near your residence. The doctor will examine you and prescribe medicine to improve the liver condition.
thank you so much Dr. .. ur answer indeed was very resourceful and helped me ease up a bit..i have an appointment for my ultrasound coming up in a week and i shall keep u posted if u have the time to come by later ..
