My 78 year old father , who has congenial heart failure , has had a swollen, extreme painful foot...He cannot put any pressure on it, has had no prior symptoms, no injury , he has had an MRI , bone scan, and gallium bone scan, the only thing showing was 3 hot spots on the top of the foot where most of the pain is... As of today,when his foot is down while sitting it turns purple , but when he gets back in bed in turns a little lighter...He also has developed petechiae.....this has been going on sine Jan 21 2014. He cannot put any pressure on his foot at all.it is swollen all the time .. please help Linda. The pain extreme...foot is discoloured...I am a amusing it is autoimmune, a type of vcancer..
