What Is The Remedy For Chronic Pancreatitis And Hypertension?

My husband has chronic pancreatitis, hypertension, and chronically high liver enzymes. He has been asleep for about six days now and I don t know why. He wakes up about one to two hours a day and that s it. Supposedly the Drs. can not do anything for him and it s ridiculous!

Dear patient,

Thanks for the query. Really sounds like advanced hepatic encephalopathy from end stage liver disease; if this is the cause there are some medications such as lactulose and rifaximin that can help. Ask the providers about those.

Hope this helps, wish you the best,
