Hello. I smoke and plug (rectal administration) crystal meth. I know, the stupidest fucking choice yet..I will recover again though. I already know how, I just have to find my help again. Anyways, I turn to you because I have yet to get a job and my family has fallen on harder times..so doctor visits aren t really doable- though I try. I am going to try again soon, to get tested again. I was tested for Hep B and Hep C and HIV and came back negative all the way through (I contracted cellulits from injecting ice-based MDMA - kinda where the Two Year record crumbled ha.. But my question: 1.) I ve had cold-symptoms for a few months approximately- and I had the same problem when I first started meth then got off of it almost immediately that time. I did not, at the time, have a sort of pimples inside my nose that are painful, pop with their nasty fluid, and respawn. I currently have no such absesses, or such, but after doing some googling, I narrowed it down to very long lasting Sinusitis. 2.) a cough (smoker s cough from cigarettes, worsened when I relapsed. Every time I smoke crystal it gets temporarily horrid- always coughing up phlegm, when smoked wrong, a little bit of what appears to be ash, but I don t know for sure.) My ex experienced the same when he first quit. 3.) and a rash I know most other users to also have (had since meth usage began). It starts (when noticed) as tiny red bumps, painful to touch and scratch, then later just annoying and itchy. I try to stay clean- bathing, washing my face and such, but I do not keep the best record, honestly. I still had the rash after quitting for my two-year period, though not near as severe. HOWEVER, at the time I had only used twice- snorting & smoking, so as a non-professional I can only guess this has to do with doing more, for longer, sometimes skipping showers, then getting high again as soon as I can. I m fucking disgusting but I will change or die trying. I apologize, I just want someone to know (though my family suspects my relapse, they do not and CANNOT absolutely find out of this. I will quit again & be even stronger now that I know where I messed up..again. 4.) Recently had two cases of Conjunctivitis- according to the internet s finest. I want to say a few weeks ago, maybe a month, I handled the drug and accidentally got some into my eye. Rinsed lightly, turned into pink eye. Fully recovered in two-three days. I could have done the same a few days ago, but now it is so much worse. The under-side of my eyes is swollen, so raw, BURNS horribly, and is so red..lots of leakage- leakage seeming to wane yet again. Using eye drops and trying to wash hands and avoid eye contact. Anyways, this is almost day Three, it seemed to start to recover earlier when I forgettingly exposed myself to mascara..and now it s not AS painful as earlier today but I think I may have set it back a bit lol. Also, no one else in my family is catching it from me. Recently caught some sort of stomach bug from elderly grandfather- kicked it in NO time!! :) Anyways, I was doing more research and the internet has terrified me beyond belief- words of HIV and other auto-immune viruses causing me to be so vulnerable?? The fever and sweating and aches..well that could be my crystal usage. I made myself comedown when I realized I caught pink eye again so I could monitor the symptoms the first time, it just went away. Then again, tweaking comes with little habits you do that night- mine are usually biting the insides of my mouth & lips or fingernails (nails have been my tick since childhood), but with this flaking, almost leathery skin under my eye, and the drainage, it s hard to do things perfectly- I can t always rush to the bathroom and such. I use meth on a weekly basis usually. Talking to other users, most of these are common prices to pay- never asked about the inner nose tiny absesses or pink eye as these are recent, but the rest are quite common. Also: I have not had sexual contact with anyone in as many as 5-6 months. I do not go to school or work..fixing that also, in March, actually! But I do smoke with a middle guy, his father has some sort of Hepatitis, but my friend does not. However, as soon as I can get the money I ll get tested again, hopefully for STDs as well (mentioned in Conjunctivitis article). & Thank you so much for this, I m really trying to do better. Getting it all planned out. I know I can kick this stupid fucking waste of a hobby again. If I ve given you too much or too little information, I apologize as I am just so freaked out..when I was a child I was always fascinated with viruses ever since my first zombie movie. My father (who I do not wish to stress out right now..his health really takes a plunge at any extra stress, he s already under so much and I can t raise any more red flags than my selfishness, stupidity, and lack of will-power have already left me to do.
