What Is The Remedy For Diarrhea And Fever?

Hi, I ve been fluish the past few days with vomiting and diarrhea and low grade fever. Today I ve been having sharp pains in my stomach that come and go as well as a pain in my left shoulder - but that is only when I take a deep breath or after I throw up. Is this part of the flu, or something to be concerned about?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thank you for posting.

You shouldn't worry because those symptoms are caused by flu.
Flu affects respiratory tract and digestive system.

To check flu complications you need these tests:
1- Blood test.
2- Pulmonary X-ray.
3- Liver function test.
4- Stool culture.
5- Urine test.

The treatment will contain antibiotic and pain killers. Rehydration is also recommended.

You should consult your gastroenterologist and your pulmonologist.

I hope you find this helpful.

Take Care.
Dr. Behar.
