What Is The Remedy For Eye Irritation When On Steroid Eye Drop?
I am using a steroid eye drop prescribed by my ophthalmologist because my eyes have felt irritated for four weeks. Erythromycin ointment did not help, now did gel-type eyedrops. The steroid helps somewhat, but not altogether. My eyelids appear swollen and there is fluid above the corner of one eye. Any ideas?
Hello It seems from the history that you have been prescribed with steroid eye drops for eye irritation. Steroids are helpful to relieve inflammation or allergies, however they require some time before the action is started. For early symptomatic relief you can use decongestant eye drops and artificial eye drops along with steroid eye drops.
