What Is The Remedy For Frequent Urge To Urinate With Ms?

Hi , My mother has ms and constantly fells like she needs to urinate. I have heard that Botox injections can help reduce the need/sensation to urinate. Can you please tell me more about this. It would be a huge improvement in my mom s quality of life if this procedure could help her. Thank you, Lisa ordeman

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your mother woh is a patient of multiple sclerosis has urge to pass urine ,

This is most likely to be due to what is called as Over Active Bladder Syndrome

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to rule out UTI and the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Taking anti muscuranic drugs like Solifenacin or Darifenacin once daily will help to reduce involuntary contraction of bladder and there by to reduce the urge to pass urine .
