What Is The Remedy For Hoarse Throat With Hacking Cough?

I have granulattion with various polyps. In my throat. They did a bx last week due to the fact my right vocak cord was so swollen was ith redness and a lot ih mucus! He said he saw no polyps. The path report stated I had a lot of granulation tissues and polyps. If he saw no polyps how can I have them ? I havre had a hoarse throat, hacking cough, severely sore throat, and painful ear all on rihgt side of throat going on 4 months now

HI.
The biopsy is done to rule out cancer, this is the most important reason.
Path report says you have polypi ; the granulation tissues are suggestive of a chronic infection.
The vocal cords are rarely affected in the first place in this way. I would advise you to do relevant blood tests and an X-ray chest PA view to find or rule out the internal problems showing the effects on the vocal cords. If the x-ray is not showing anything definite , also go for CT scan of the chest and larynx to rule out the hidden problems.
