What Is The Remedy For Pain Due To Pressure With Seroma?

I have a seroma following hip replacement. My doctor does not want to drain the fluid to avoid infection and he says that the fluid will just return. I am in a lot of pain due to the pressure and wonder how long before the fluid will go away on its own or can I do something to speed it up?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Of course there may be a possibility of the infection, but the present condition it self may be due to the infection.
It may be necessary to use medicines for control of the infection.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ornidazole, serratiopeptidase, diclofenac, and paracetamol.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods, till the pain is under control.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
