What Is The Remedy For Rapid Heartbeat With High Cholesterol?
i have been having a rapid heartbeat for a few days now i am a female 54 years of age weight 165 . i would like to know how to control my heartbeat and how to get it back on track. i think it is stress. is execise alright. i walked at fitness center yesterday. did a mile with a walk and jog. no dizziness. heart rate was up to 165. is this ok to exercise like this. my blood pressure has been ok. one reading 121 over 78 and another 123 over 78. but heart rate was 101. not sleeping well and wake up with rapid heartbeat. i feel fine, just fast heartbeat. had ultra sound done on heart 4 months ago everything fine. dr. did it for palpatations. they went away. had a physical then, everything fine but i have high cholesterol 254, do not take medication. how do i deal with my heartrate? thank you
Likely to be Stress as you say – but it is better to see an Internist / get yourself examined ... Appropriate treatment demands proper diagnosis – which often demands investigations EKG / HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) / ECHOcardiogram / TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance.
Good luck Take care Wishing all well God bless
