What Is The Remedy For Red Blotches On The Hip In One With Sciatic Nerve And Osteoarthritis ?

I have ciatic nerve and osteoarthritis in my left hip. I have been using a hot water bottle in the mornings for the past 4 months to help with the pain . I have developed what looks like dark red blotches on this area. What can I use to heal this?

Hi welcome to HCM. The red blotches must be due to the hot water bottle. Please use a soothing cream like silver sulphadiazine. But if there is severe pain or burning that does not subside, do see your doctor to rule out Herpes Zoster.
