What Is The Remedy For Red, Itchy And Burning Rash Below Ankle Without Help From Cotizone Cream?
I have a red rash below my ankle very itchy and burning. started out small thought I had a bug bite which itched. now grew in a semi circle thought poision ivy been using cotizone 10 not working getting worse.been about 10 days. what can I do to stop the itch. And what can it possibly be?

Hi,
It seems that you may be having insect toxic dermatitis. There may be erythematous lesion with burning and itching. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and treatment. Steroid in tappering dose,antibiotics,antihistaminics like levocetirizine might improve the disease. Apply antibiotic with steroid cream. If s itching is there still, you may take hydroxyzine HCL like atarax 25 mg at night daily till you feel good. I hope you got my answer.
