My daughter is 6 weeks and 5 days old. Yesterday after feed she started vomiting every 5-10 min but not much, just lke tablespoon. Today her left eye is swolen, right one as well a little. Both eyelids pink. She keeps crying and spitting up/vomiting.she never cried that much even when i hold her doesn t stop.what should I do?
dear patient,
your baby is suffering from conjuntivities.but what is worring to me is that she is vomiting and excessively crying which are not good signs. They may suggest brain infection secondary to eye infection. first of all u have to start some antibiotic eye drops, example a ciplox eye drops.get minimal blood tests done, complete blood count and c-reactive protiens.if they are abnormal, then immediately consult a peadiatrician.Meanwhile the drops to be continued for seven days, dose is 2 drops three times a day.And proper hygiene of eyes, that cleaning them with sterile cotton dipped in warm water
Hi...dear zabit..,

hi welcome to hcm.see you have to concern immediately to pediatric doc because vomiting may speedily end in dehydration so diagnosis is helpful as early as possible.
