What Is The Remedy For The Dry Patch At The Back Of The Throat Which Needs Frequent Clearing Due To Discomfort And Even Water Causes The Dryness To Continue?

So i have an ongoing throat issue for the last 2 weeks. Feels like a dry patch at the back (slightly to the left) on my thoat. the area is slightly above where my adams apple sits. there is no redness of tonsils or white marks, is present in both morning and afternoon, need to clear throat due to comfort, but nil excess mucus production or coughing. is less noticeable when eating food and not noticeable at all when consuming alcohol, however water causes the dry feeling to continue, can supply a well lit picture upon request. nil relief so far from heartburn and indigestion chews, or antibacterial throat gargles

Hi, the problem is usually due to reflux and taking proton pump inhibitors for 3 weeks help. Also use a mucolytic preparation for some days. Also get your haemoglobin checked as anaemia is a cause of such a feeling in throat. Regards
