What Is The Remedy For The Lump On The Elbow That Is Warm, Swollen And Painful?

I have a lump right below the bend of the elbow that is slightly warm to the touch and is very swollen and hurts. I also have a trigger middle finger on the same hand, and don't know if that might be part of the problem. Is there anything I can do or should do about the lump on my arm (fairly large lump)?

Hi

You seem to have developed a superficial infection of the skin called folliculitis .
This is basically an infection of the hair follicles.
You should apply an antibiotic cream like neosporin over the lesion twice a day.
Do not apply any other cream or oil over it.
Take some oral anti inflammatory agent like paracetamol to decrease the inflammation .
You might need oral antibiotics if the infection still persists.

Hope it helps
