What Is The Remedy For The Night Twitching An Jerking?

I am experiencing night twitching, legs and arms. I take 20 mg of celexa every morning. Drink 1-2 glasses of red wine, 3-4 times per week, at night. Have stopped drinking a few weeks ago and twitching, jerking still exists, but only during sleeping hours. ?? Mike

What you are talking about could be benign myoclonic seizures or clonus due to imbalance of certain electrolytes in the body. It could also be suffering from some neuropathic conditions which might be resultant of your alcohol intake. You need to be examined by a doctor and based on his findings proper treatment can be administered. The treatment depends upon the underlying cause.
