What Is The Remedy For The Persistent Dry Cough In A 4 Year Old?

Hi Doctor, My daughter 4 years 3 months old is having dry cough since last 24 hours. She coughs almost once per minute. She was already suffering from fever/ cold since last 4 days. Doctor told she has viral fever and has given crocin, sinarest and Rhine nasal drops. Fever is under control now, but her incessant dry cough is bothering us. Kindly advice. Thanks

Hai... I understand your concern... But cough has to be treated only if its disturbing sleep or associated with wheeze. 24 hours cough definitely firs onto this..disturbing daily activity cough. You can go for some throat lozenges or approach your pediatrician. Happy to help anytime. If you are happy with my reply, kindly rate it.
