General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.Your wife problem can be tonsillitis with bronchial asthma.Recurrent throat infection can worsen the condition.A sputum AFB should be taken to rule out tuberculosis.A spirometric analysis also should be taken.A thorough throat examination with an ENT specialist is necessary. With proper course of antibiotics steroids and antihistamines she will be fine.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
