I am having severe pain in ear nerve due to Neuralgia. It is so severe that I get passed out due to pain and getting sweat holding my ear. It starts from my throat area during eating food or drinking fluid. Doctor have prescribed medicine called - OXcarbazepne 150 MG to take 2 or 3 tablets per day. Can you provide your opinion to get answer on how to remove this pain.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe you have pain while eating, or drinking fluids, means the pain is from the mouth, may be tooth, or the pharynx. Thre may be neuralgia, but also may the oral pain is also present. I advise you to consult an E.N.T. surgeon for diagnosis. You may need to have an intraoral x ray of tooth for diagnosis. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ornidazole, and serratiopeptidase, phenylefrine , and citrzine. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
