What Is The Result Of My Brain MRI Suggestive Of?

My friend a case of severe head injury 7month before after discharge motor and psychomotor recovery and walk independently but are to visual problem (no perception of light in both eyes) Both optic disc pale/clear margin suggestive of partial optic atrophy and media is clear MRI of brain Impression: gliosis in right anterior temporal lobe with mild ventriculomegaly. Doctor prescribed medicine [[[[Want to know he can recover vision??? ]]]

Hi,

If both discs are pale with signs of atrophy, the likelihood of irreversible damage to vision is significant and recovery seems less likely.

Since damage is partial and if doesn't progress further, or brain recovery upto some extent partially compensates of central causes of visual loss too, vision can slightly get better in that case but otherwise progression is a possibility.
