What Is The Right Dosage And Time Of Advair 500/50 To Be Taken?
Hi I am to take one dose of Advair 500/50 daily. I was prescribed it twice daily for one month,which ended this week and now my Dr wants me to decrease my dose to once daily. I will see him in 2 mos and likely go down to the 250/50...he wants me controlled well. My Q- is AM or PM a better to take Advair ? ..Or does it not matter? Thank you, Terry

Advair 500/50 is actually most potent drug for treatment for ASTHMA containing fluticasone/salmeterol .
In my clinic usually I advise my patient take this drug late in the night ( PM ) because in the night temperature falls , hence there is more chance of precipitation of asthmatic attack.
In my opinion late in the night is the best time for this drug.
