What Is The Right Dosage Of T-Minic Recommended For Infants?

Hi,I have given 5ml of T-minic dose to my one year child from yesterday. prescribed dose is 10-12 drops two times a day. From yesterday we have given total three doses of 5ml. Is there any serious side effect of oversode? shall I consult to doctor immediatly

Thanks for writing to HCM.
Timinic contains phenylephrine , cns depressant.

There is a difference of dosage for timinic drops and syrup . if you have given 5ml thrice since yesterday when drops were recommended , kindly consult a paediatrician immediately.The baby's heart rate and respiratory rate needs to be monitored.

Make sure you give her stimulants like tea (after consulting a doctor) so that to prevent excessive drowsiness.Also give good amount of fluids.
