Hello,
You are suffering from white spots on the foreskin. It stings when you pee and is red and irritant. Your symptoms are indicative of penile yeast infection, it can be spread by having sex with someone who has a yeast infection or by not practicing good genital hygiene. You can apply antifungal creams or ointment, like miconazole (Desenex) or
clotrimazole (Canesten and Lotrimin AF) on the area affected. It will get cleared up. You can also take a course of antifungal medicine orally if symptoms are resistant.
Take bath regularly and maintain proper hygiene. Wear soft cotton clothes and get clothes washed everyday. If sexually active with multiple partners the symptoms can also be due to genital warts, it is treated with
laser surgery or
cryotherapy. It can also be due to herpes warts, treated with imiquimod (Aldara)
podophyllin and podofilox (Condylox) to reduce pain. Get clinically examined by a
Urologist, get STD tests and a urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done. You will be accordingly treated with antivirals and antibiotics.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
