What Is The Risk Factor Of Having Typhoid And Diabetes At The Same Time?

Hi. My mom had fever last week and the temperature was 108. now she is in the hospital and doctor found typhoid and her diabetes was high for last 4 month. now she is little better and treatment is going on. what is the risk factor of having typhoid and diabetes at the same time? what is recommended ?

Dear sir I understand your concern.
I am sorry to hear you have been having difficulties getting your blood sugar in the normal range now. I am very happy you are this conscientious because having a well controlled blood sugar is very important in preventing the onset of diabetic complications.
in uncontrolled diabetes body is more prone for infections becuse immunity of body will come down.
During this kind of problems its better to shift patient tp insulin will increase her speed of recovery.
