What Is The Severity Of Rheumatoid Arthritis With ESR 22mm/hr?

Hi Dr.

My husband is 32.He has diagnosed Rheumatoid arthritis with ESR 22mm/hr(without fasting) and 12mm/hr (in fasting, tested on 6/3/2012). Blood and Urine test are reported normal..what is the severity and is this can be completely cured. we are really worried about his health...

an esr of 22 i would say is normal.
and in a way it is good prognosis.
however sometimes people with active disease may have a normal esr.
so other thing like his rf, anti ccp and how severe is his arthritis should gauge his overall prognosis
